Ribera Atelier PLLC was founded by Jose Ribera after two decades of award-winning architecture and design practice, both as licensed architect and as owner representative.

His work spans every sector and scale from new, ground-up buildings and complex historic landmark adaptations, to interior architecture, public spaces, and brand repositioning projects. His global portfolio encompasses over 100 projects, including high-end residential, academic, commercial, corporate (workplace, retail and campus), hospitality, and culture and heritage projects.

With a deep passion for education, Jose teaches architecture and design at the Wentworth Institute of Technology and serves regularly as guest critic at academic institutions, including Roger Williams University, Northeastern University, BAC, and the Rhode Island School of Design.

Jose was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and is inspired by his late father, a prolific architect. He is the proud dad of two beautiful children (and a pup), and a resident of Newton, MA.
