Jose Ribera, AIA founded Ribera Atelier PLLC in 2023 after two decades of architecture and design practice, both as licensed architect and as owner's representative.
His work spans every sector and scale from new, ground-up buildings and historic landmark renovations, to small interior architecture and furniture design projects. Jose's collaborations at Machado Silvetti, NBBJ, and Marlon Blackwell Architects have earned recognition publications and multiple awards worldwide. His trajectory also features design leadership roles with Amazon and Fidelity Investments. Having been on "both sides of the table", Jose understands the gamut of ingredients that maximize both value and meaning in the investment that is architecture.
With a deep passion for education and service, Jose teaches at the WIT School of Architecture & Design and serves regularly as guest critic at academic institutions, including Roger Williams University, Northeastern University, and the Rhode Island School of Design.
Jose was born and raised in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, inspired by his father, a prolific master architect. He is the proud dad of two beautiful children and resident of Newton, MA.
