Ribera Atelier PLLC is a full-service design studio based in Boston, Massachusetts, founded by Jose Ribera after two decades of practice as an architect - licensed in MA and WA - and as a design leader on the owner’s side.

Alongside my practice, I teach architecture and design at the Wentworth Institute of Technology and serve as guest critic at Roger Williams University, Boston Architectural College, Northeastern University, and Rhode Island School of Design.

My work is shaped by key people: my dad, a gifted architect; my mom, a service-minded teacher, and my grandmother, the place-maker in our family. Their stories drive my passion for design, for people, and for place.

My career has been shaped by award-winning collaborations at renowned firms like Machado Silvetti and Marlon Blackwell Architects, and by global design initiatives on the client side at Fidelity Investments, Pembroke Real Estate, and Amazon. Across more than 100 projects —spanning New England, the U.S., and abroad in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia — I've had the joy of designing everything from homes, universities and cultural institutions to corporate workplace and real estate development projects.
